Ford house
The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, 1100 Lakeshore, Grosse Pointe Shores offers the following programs:
* The Craft in the Digital Age exhibit features the work of contemporary Detroit-area artists and designers throughout the main residence and runs through September 30th.
* Bird Walk, Sunday 11 September at 7:30am and Sunday 25 September at 8pm. Admission is $8 for members, $10 for non-members.
*Sustainability Talk: Design, Thursday, September 15, 7pm, featuring Pingree Pet Products.
* Maker Studio: Mini Tapestries, Saturday, September 17, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $50 for members, $60 for non-members.
* Walking Meditation, Sunday, September 18, 3 p.m., with Detroit Zen Center. The cost is $10 for members, $12 for non-members.

Detroit WALK
The Detroit WALK to End Hydrocephalus will be held on Saturday, September 24th at River Bends Park in Shelby Township. The event features a 5K, raffle, information about hydrocephalus, music, food and children’s characters. Registration begins at 10am, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 11:45am and the Walk at 12pm.
