Labor Day Closures, Pittsburgh Parade, Other Holiday Events – WTAE Pittsburgh | Directory Mayhem

All city, county, state and federal offices and courts are closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Normal mail will not be picked up or delivered. The city of Pittsburgh’s garbage collection will one day be postponed. Banks will be closed, as will PennDOT driver license centers. Liquor stores normally open on Mondays close at 5pm. Pittsburgh Regional Transit buses and light rail vehicles operate on Sunday schedules. Buses are diverted because of the Labor Day parade.
